What is Open Cooking?
Open Cooking Mode allows you to cook without the measuring cup, letting steam escape freely and enabling faster reduction, browning, and evaporation. It mimics traditional open-top cooking but with the precision and safety of Thermomix.

How does it work?
-
The TM7 adjusts temperature and speed settings to safely allow cooking without the measuring cup.
-
The lid remains on to protect from splatter, but the hole is left open to vent steam.
-
It’s perfect for dishes that need evaporation or reduced liquids for flavour and texture.

Ideal for:
-
Reducing sauces, stocks, or soups for a richer flavour.
-
Cooking risottos or stews that benefit from a thicker consistency.
-
Caramelising onions or creating jam-like textures.
-
Evaporating excess moisture from purees or braises.
