Meet Cookidoo Assistant: A Smarter Way to Find What to Cook

2 min read

One of the most exciting changes coming to Cookidoo is Cookidoo Assistant.

Until now, finding a recipe usually meant searching for a dish or working through Cookidoo's filters.

Cookidoo Assistant changes that.

You can now describe what you're looking for in much more natural language.

Ask Cookidoo what you actually want

You could ask:

“I need a quick dinner recipe.”

Or be much more specific:

“I have eggs, spinach and feta and need something ready in 20 minutes.”

You could even say:

“I'm hosting four people. Give me a three-course dinner menu.”

The more information you give it, the more relevant the results can become.

What can Cookidoo Assistant help with?

The Assistant is designed to help with things including:

Recipe finding

Ingredient searches

Ratings searches

Cross-country recipe discovery

Recipe comparisons

Menu creation

Shopping lists

Weekly planning

Saving and bookmarking recipes

That creates some genuinely useful everyday possibilities.

Instead of scrolling through hundreds of recipes, you can start with the problem you actually have.

“What can I make with what's in my fridge?”

“What can I prepare this morning and cook tonight?”

“Find me something with no more than five ingredients.”

How to get the best results

There are four useful things to include in your request.

Tell Cookidoo:

1. What you want “I want a quick family dinner.”

2. What you have or don't like “I have chicken and peppers, but I don't like mushrooms.”

3. How much time you have “Ready in 30 minutes.”

4. The style of food you fancy “Something Mediterranean.”

You don't need to include everything every time, but adding more detail should make the suggestions more useful.

Why this matters

Cookidoo has always been one of the biggest benefits of owning a Thermomix.

Cookidoo Assistant takes that further.

Rather than knowing what recipe you want before opening Cookidoo, you can now start with a question.

“What shall I cook tonight?”

And that might be the biggest difference of all.
