Thermomix TM7 now makes going to a previous step easier

Update: Software Update 1.5 is Now Available

I originally expected TM7 Software Update 1.5 to begin rolling out on 23rd July, but the release was delayed and didn't arrive as planned.

The good news is that the update is now officially available from 30th July 2026.

If you visited this article before the update arrived, apologies for the confusion. I've updated the information throughout to reflect the new release date.

Make sure your TM7 is connected to Wi-Fi and check for the latest software update to start exploring the new features.

TM7 Guided Cooking Just Got Smarter

One of the biggest usability improvements in TM7 Software Update 1.5 is the ability to revisit previous Guided Cooking steps.

Why was this needed?

Almost everyone has experienced this:

"I've clicked Next... what did that previous step say?"

Previously, checking meant scrolling or restarting parts of the recipe.

Now you simply tap the previous instruction card.

Perfect for checking:

• Speeds

• Temperatures

• Ingredient quantities

• Mixing times

• Scraping reminders

It sounds small, but during cooking it saves frustration.
